Our History
Sami College of Nursing and Health Sciences is a family college founded by Alhaji Camara, who is the current managing director. Mr Camara served in the United Kingdom in the National Health Service (NHS) for 15 years, in addition to 10 years of earlier service in the health system and medical practice in The Gambia. Established in 2018, our college transfers his skills, and those of other professionals in the college teaching staff, to young men and women who aspire to become paramedical professionals in The Gambia and other parts of Africa.
